When you open an RESP account any deposits you make (Up to an annual limit of $2,500) will result in a 20% Canadian Education Savings Grant (CESG) which comes directly from the Federal Government. They are the only life insurance company in Canada to offer RESPs and this particular plan offers not only the benefits of the CESG, but the potential to receive up to 15% of your total contributions in the form of a "completion bonus" which is paid at the end of the contract.
